How do I register to sell vouchers via Gottcha (become a vendor)?

Click on “Vendor Dashboard” here or in the top menu, this will take you to the login or register page.

If you have used us before, as a customer, login and go to the “Vendor Dashboard” where you will see the “Vendor Application” form.

If not register; make sure you tick “Apply to become a vendor?” and accept the terms. This will redirect you to the “Vendor Application” form.

On submission the site administrators will be notified to review and approve your applicaiton.  Please allow up to 2 working days.

N.B. The more complete you make your application the better visibility you will have in Gottcha and the better you will do.

Do I need a PayPal account?

No, but it helps with prompt payments.

If you have a PayPal account and save your PayPal email address as part of your registration then we can make payments to you for sales made in realtime.

If you don’t have a PayPal account then we batch process all payments monthly.

How do I sign up for PayPal?

There are 2 types of PayPal accounts: Personal and Business.  Both are free to sign up for.  In order to use PayPal with Gottcha you need a business account.

Here’s how to sign up for a PayPal account:

  1. Go to the PayPal website and click Sign Up at the top of the page.
  2. Select the type of account you would like to open, make sure you select “Business.”
  3. Select your country.
  4. Enter your email address and choose a password.
  5. Click Continue.
  6. Fill out the form and enter the CAPTCHA.
  7. Confirm that you’ve read the PayPal User Agreement and click Agree and Create Account.

You can start to use your new PayPal account right away.

Once my vendor account is approved how do I start selling?

Login to your newly approved vendor account / dashboard.

In the black dashboard menu click “Products” then the link below the menu “Add Product”.

Carry out the following minimum to create a new voucher for sale:

Product Description:
Add a product name, description and short description.  The more informative you are the better chance you have of the voucher selling.

Product Images:
Click “Set Featured Image” to upload the main image for you product.  Ideally this should be an 800px by 800px JPEG image.

If you want to add further images click “Add product gallery images”.  Again ideally 800px by 800px.

N.B. If you stick to these iamge sizes for all images the product display will look awesome, anything smaller or of varying size and it will look less so.

Product Type:
You can choose between two product types; Simple and Variable.  Most vouchers will be simple but if you want to offer the same voucher for the same product or service but with different options at different prices you’ll want to select a Variable product.

N.B. Also make sure you tick it as a Downloadable product as this will enable the product to be a online delvierable voucher with associated options.

Product Details:
As a minimum enter a Sku (part number or unique referance) and Regular price.  If this is an offer then also add a Sale price and optionally a date range for this if it is date limited.

Voucher Details:
Your offer  will be delivered as a PDF voucher which can be emailed to the client, recipient or downloaded.  So you need to carefully set of the PDF Voucher Options for your product.  In the PDF Voucher tabe you can set up what fields / questions you want to ask on sale of the voucher, date / time limitations, set it for unlimited sales with an automatically generated voucher code or enter a limited number of voucher codes which you can automatically generate or import from your own system.

Just work through the voucher details carefully and hopefully it will all make sense.  If not ask us via our contact form.
